While remote healthcare is expanding throughout the world due to COVID-19, it's been an ongoing need in Africa for decades. Only recently has the technology been available to make it happen; a simple WhatsApp message can provide a skin infection diagnosis remotely and the treatment can be picked up locally. Donations for the Remote Healthcare initiative go towards the medications used to treat these common infections.
